    A few good questions

    Before you
    press start.

Is Insta Timer free to use?

The timer controls and guides on InstaTimer.com are free to access. You do not need an account or a subscription to start a preset countdown, stopwatch, or interval session.

What works directly on this website?

The on-page tools include preset countdowns, a stopwatch with laps, work/rest intervals, an optional sound, and saved session summaries in this browser. Start, pause, reset, and choose presets using the visible buttons.

Will the timer alert me if I close the tab?

No. Keep the page open and your device awake for timely on-page and sound cues. A browser or operating system may delay activity in the background. Use a suitable device alarm when a closed-screen alert is essential.

Can it send an email or SMS, or call an AI model?

The AI, email, SMS, and web-notification pages are practical guides. They explain those workflows without connecting this timer to a delivery service, model provider, or publishing platform.

Where are my saved sessions kept?

When you choose Save session, a summary is stored locally in this browser. You can view, export, or clear up to 50 summaries from the session-log pages. They do not sync across devices. Stopwatch laps stay in the current session.

Are the platform and sports pages official apps or clocks?

Platform names identify the subjects of independent guides. The site does not claim official browser partnerships or native app-store distribution. Sports tools are for practice timing and are not certified competition clocks.
